The Hanging votive candle Shoji Lantern
The hand printed cover is made from fiberglass with a 'rice paper' look, 5 1/4 inches high,
3 1/4 inches wide and hangs from a wrought iron 'cloud symbol' shape on a 17 1/2 inch rod. A glass votive candle holder sits securely inside the cover and we use a tea light candles as they keep the glass clean and are easy to replace.
We have been working to design and create lighting for all the various places that one might like candle light ..... areas where you don't need to be 'plugged in' to electricity. Our 'Staked Shoji Lanterns' and now these 'Hanging Shoji Lanterns' can go into your garden and also with you on trips to a lake, beach or even camping. You can light your path, as you walk through the dark of the night, carrying this lantern by it's 'handle'. Although looking like rice paper the hardy fiberglass covers are fine in damp, or dewy nights. All through our bamboo garden we hang, stake and float these shoji lanterns, testing their durability while experiencing the glowing magic of 'firefly' radiance dancing in the night.
The staked Shoji Lanterns seem to levitate in your night garden! Encased in a fiberglass cover the glass votive candle holder can be planted close to plants without overheating the foliage. A standard unscented white votive candle will burn about 10 hours.

A glass votive candle holder sits securely inside the cover and we use a tea light candles
as they keep the glass clean and are easy to replace.
